The rebuilding of the Cleveland Cavaliers continues with the addition of Tyler Zeller, a talented all-around center out of North Carolina.
Zeller isn't an eye-popping athlete, but he runs the floor well for a player his size and has a fairly impressive array of moves in the low post. He'll need to get stronger, further refine his post game and develop a more consistent mid-range jumper to become a starter-caliber center at the next level.
Zeller was announced as a selection of the Dallas Mavericks, but his draft rights will be conveyed to the Cavs in exchange for the 24th, 33rd and 34th overall picks. His arrival may foreshadow the departure of Anderson Varejao, who is reportedly being shopped fairly aggressively by Cleveland.
He's the fourth Tar Heel to be selected in the first round of this year's draft, following teammates Harrison Barnes, Kendall Marshall and John Henson.
