A professional player in Lebanon topped Wilt Chamberlain's single-game scoring record by a wide margin on Tuesday, scoring 113 points in a single game.
Mohammad El Akkari joined the exclusive 100-point-game club when he scored 113 in a Lebanese league game Tuesday.
Akkari, who came into the game averaging only 7.6 points per game in 23 contests, made 40-of-69 shots, including 32-of-59 3-pointers, according to fibaasia.net. He made only one free throw.

Apparently the game is played a bit differently in Lebanon. I'm pretty sure that, if that happened in the United States, the defense might try fouling the guy a couple of times.
