Dwight Howard on the Trading Block

The dismissals of Orlando general manager Otis Smith and coach Stan Van Gundy were just another attempt to convince Dwight Howard to re-sign, right?

Maybe not.

According to a report from Chris Sheridan of Sheridanhoops.com, Orlando is actively looking to deal their all-star center and could make a deal before this year's draft.

There will be no shortage of suitors, but Sheridan mentions the Nets and Knicks as possible destinations. The Dallas Mavericks, Lakers and Clippers could also get involved.

Much may depend on how the NBA Draft Lottery turns out, and which team wins the right to draft Kentucky's Anthony Davis.
