Where Will Steve Nash Land

Several teams - most notably, the Knicks, Bulls and Heat - are reportedly interested in signing Steve Nash this summer, provided Nash is willing to accept a below-market contract to play for a playoff contender.

But it sounds like Nash will have several other options. ESPN's Marc Stein lists the Trail Blazers, Raptors and Nets as potential bidders that will have the cap room to make Nash very lucrative offers.

All three make sense for other reasons as well. The Blazers are the closest team to Nash's native Pacific Northwest. The Raptors are the only team playing in his home country. And the Nets offer New York, where Nash lives in the offseason.

Of course... there's still every possibility that Nash will close out his hall-of-fame career in Phoenix, where management is rumored to be preparing a lucrative "retire as a Sun" contract offer worth $20 million over two years.
